  • Equipped with a full calendar and moon phase indicator.
  • COSC-certified chronometer offering high precision.

Brellum is a small independent brand founded a few years ago by Sébastien Muller in the Swiss Jura. The brand produces classic-style watches offered at a fair price and sold exclusively online, directly to customers. Brellum's first collection, Duobox, is a playful chronograph with a Valjoux 7750 movement, certified as a chronometer. Sébastien Muller has released several limited editions of this model, including versions equipped with a full calendar chronograph 7751. Launched in early July, the Brellum Duobox Classic LE.8 Chronometer now comes in an attractive new grey outfit.

The Brellum Duobox Classic LE.8 Chronometer is released in a limited edition of 15 pieces and is an iteration of the Duobox chronograph with a full calendar. The grey model features an anthracite dial and a stainless steel case with DLC coating, with matte and polished surfaces. Like previous versions, the retro-style case measures 41.80 mm in diameter. It is equipped with piston-type pushers and domed sapphire crystals on both sides. The front glass protects the dial, while the back offers a splendid view of the mechanism. This original design also allows the case to be relatively thin, considering the movement inside; the case is 11.20 mm without crystals and 15.90 mm in total.

In this edition, the Brellum Duobox Classic features a tone-on-tone dial with an anthracite base, a sunburst pattern in the center, and a smooth hour chapter ring. For greater contrast, the sub-dial is in silver, and all hands and applied markers have diamond cutting and polishing, adding a subtle luxurious touch to this more complex version of the Duobox model.

The watch is equipped with the automatic caliber Brellum BR-751-TCMP, built on the ETA 7751 base, the full calendar version of the time-tested 7750 model. The classic Valjoux 12-9-6 chronograph layout is complemented by numerous complications. As for the calendar itself, the day and month indicators are displayed in two small windows integrated into the 12 o'clock register. The date is indicated by a centrally located hand on the date track running around the dial's periphery. An aperture in the six o'clock counter shows the waxing and waning Moon. Finally, the 9 o'clock small seconds register features a day-night indicator.

The BR-751-TCMP caliber oscillates at 28,800 vibrations per hour, and the power reserve is 46 hours. As with all Brellum watches, the accuracy is officially certified by COSC. As mentioned above, it is visible through the glass exhibition case back, adorned with mother-of-pearl, Geneva stripes, and blued screws. The openwork rotor is engraved with the individual limited edition number.
