The Fears brand has kicked off the 2026 release season with a major update, unveiling six new watch models, three of which feature significant dial design changes.

First and foremost, the 40mm Brunswick model was chosen to create the first pilot's watch by Fears in 180 years - a classic case of a pleasant size complemented by a fully functional military aviator-style dial, presented in two color options.

Secondly, the Redcliff collection with a 39.5mm case diameter has long needed a diversity of dials, and in 2026, Fears delivered. Redcliff has been expanded with three new pastel dials, broadening the brand's audience by attracting a younger and wider group of buyers. Finally, the flagship Brunswick 40.5 Jump Hour model received an exquisite dial with ceramic motifs in the shade of 'China Blue'. Let's take a closer look at each new release.

When talking about Fears, the cushion-shaped case of the Brunswick model immediately comes to mind. After this model essentially saved the brand in 2020, it became the foundation of the collection. The 40mm version was introduced in 2024 to slightly increase the size while preserving the elegance associated with Fears. However, the case shape harks back to military pilot and diver watches of the past. In 2026, the Brunswick 40 Filton model appeared - military-style pilot's watches with a specific mission, named after the town of Filton near Bristol, where the historic Bristol Aeroplane Company was located and where British components for the Concorde aircraft were manufactured.

The Filton case is made of 316L stainless steel, has a classic cushion shape with a diameter of 40mm, a lug-to-lug length of 46.5mm, and a thickness of 11.9mm. The weight and dimensions of the watch are balanced to feel utilitarian but not bulky. There is a screw-down crown and an option to choose between a solid or transparent case back, which does not affect the 150-meter water resistance.

The main difference in the Filton is the dial, available in two variants: Raven Black - a deep black with a sunburst texture in the center and a matte, ribbed outer area; and Squadron Green - a military green shade. Both dials are surrounded by white matte hour markers filled with Grade A BGW9 Super-LumiNova for bright luminescence, complemented by clear white printing and broad light hands. For a military touch, the second hand on the green model is yellow.

A significant change was made to the mechanical part. A date window appeared at the '6 o'clock' position, indicating a change in the movement. Inside is the automatic Soigné VB La Joux-Perret G100 caliber with a 68-hour power reserve and a frequency of 28,800 vibrations per hour. The movement surpasses the previous ETA, adorned with Côtes de Genève decoration, blue screws, and a custom rotor engraved with the 'Bristol Flower'.

The Redcliff 39.5 is perhaps the most everyday and accessible model from Fears with a classic round case, expanding the brand's audience with those who prefer traditional shapes over the signature cushion-shaped cases. Until recently, the choice of dials was limited: a textured black released last year, and a simple silver. The only exception was a special 'confetti' version a couple of years ago. Now the situation has changed.

For the collection update, three fashionable pastel dial colors are introduced: Sherbet Yellow, Soft Peach, and Pale Lilac. These shades refresh the model and make it appealing to a broader audience that, according to market trends, prefers colored dials. The design is clean, without unnecessary elements, making the watch versatile for both men's and women's wrists in the summer.

The case with a diameter of 39.5mm is made of corrosion-resistant 316L steel, with a traditional shape and is comfortable to wear. The case thickness is only 10.37mm, with a lug-to-lug length of 47mm, suitable for various wrist sizes. Water resistance is 150 meters, there is a screw-down crown and a choice between a solid and transparent case back, through which the automatic La Joux-Perret G101 movement with a 68-hour power reserve and neat finishing can be seen, which is rare for this price category.

The watches come with Alcantara straps with white stitching and a signature Fears Cypher buckle. The straps are color-matched to the dial, but can be replaced with a stainless steel three-link bracelet with polished and matte finishing, equipped with a folding clasp with micro-adjustment.

The Brunswick Jump Hour model holds a special place in the Fears catalog and is currently at the peak of popularity due to the jump hour complication. The unusual time display attracts attention and turns the hour change into a small event. At the same time, the watch retains the elegance typical of the brand, combining innovation with classic style. In 2026, the dial received a delicate update - a minimalist design in the 'China Blue' shade.

The dial combines a silver-white outer part with a Barleycorn pattern and a matte inner disc of rich blue color, inspired by traditional Wedgwood ceramics from Stoke-on-Trent - a symbol of British craftsmanship. These colors convey a subtle aesthetic and historical depth, evoking associations with classic porcelain products. The look is complemented by rhodium-plated elements and a large jump hour window at '12 o'clock'.

The case is made of 316L steel, with a diameter of 40.5mm and a thickness of 12.8mm - slightly larger than other models, but the watch still does not appear bulky. Inside is the automatic Sellita SW200 movement with the Christopher Ward JJ01 jump hour module, which adds a complication to the reliable caliber. The power reserve is 38 hours - quite adequate for such a construction. The watch is offered on a grey Alcantara strap with a classic buckle or on a 5-link steel bracelet with a folding clasp.
