Although the Sub 600 has disappeared from the brand's lineup in recent decades, it still has dedicated fans, and for its latest release, Doxa has collaborated with Australian watch media brand Time+Tide to present a modern reinterpretation of this 80s sports icon. The new Doxa Sub 600T Pacific limited edition revives the 80s diver aesthetic with a dark titanium tone and a commitment to the brand's creative style.
At first glance, the Doxa Sub 600T Pacific's case makes a much more serious, almost brutalist impression than the familiar Sub 300 series. The Sub 600T Pacific case, measuring 40mm and 47.6mm lug-to-lug, is crafted from fully matte titanium, giving it a utilitarian matte look in the initial images. The case shape itself is sharply distinct from the sloping curves of the Sub 300 line, featuring sharply beveled lugs, a flat surface, and a wide tapering bevel running the length of the case.
The characteristic thin signed crown features an unusual hidden protection, with most of the crown body recessed into a square protrusion at the 4 o'clock position. The bezel shares the same aggressive design, with a bold sawtooth edge and a cobalt blue insert with Doxa's signature white and bright orange decompression scale.
