A limited edition release paying homage to the legendary Concorde supersonic aircraft.

Breitling has introduced a new addition to the Navitimer collection, which pays tribute to the legendary Concorde supersonic aircraft.

The first Concorde aircraft was unveiled in May 1969 at the Paris Air Show in Le Bourget. In October of the same year, the Concorde broke the sound barrier for the first time, and in December 1973, the first production model took to the skies. Its distinctive fuselage shape earned it the nickname "white bird." The Concorde became a legend because no aircraft before or after it has flown so high and so fast.

The watch honoring this aviation legend features a stainless steel case measuring 43 x 13.69 mm. It is complemented by a blue dial with white counters. The dial's hue references the color of the stratosphere, where the Concorde carried its passengers for several decades. The white counters nod to the aircraft's nickname, "white bird."

The model is limited to a series of 593 pieces, a reference to the Olympus 593 turbojet engines that powered the Concorde. The perimeter of the case back is engraved with "One of 593," "Tribute to Concorde," "Jetliner," and "Mach 2," the latter referring to the Concorde's cruising speed that surpassed the sound barrier.

The watch is offered with an alligator leather strap, dyed to match the dial.
