Following a release just 10 days ago, the independent Swiss brand Chronoswiss has unveiled two new watch models, which are even more unusual and interesting.

The first is a special Delphis, a Chronoswiss interpretation of the classic single-hand jumping hour, named the Art Deco. The model is inspired by the iconic graphic design and architecture of the roaring 1920s, combining them with the ultra-modern aesthetics characteristic of the brand.

The second novelty is the Neo Digiteur Chronos, a rectangular watch with a jumping hour without hands, which looks like a hybrid of modernist steampunk style and an ancient Greek artifact. Both models have appeared just in time for the start of the major premieres season, so let's take a closer look at them.

The Delphis line has been around for quite some time. First introduced in 1996, it became one of the most recognizable and popular complications of Chronoswiss, effectively setting a trend for jumping hours long before their mass popularization. In 2026, Delphis takes a new direction - a design inspired by the architecture and graphics of the Art Deco 1920s, giving the watch a unique and expressive look.

The case is made of grade 5 titanium, consisting of 17 components, with a diameter of 42mm and a thickness of 14.4mm with a unique matte finish. Classic details such as the grooved case sides, straight lugs, and onion-shaped crown are executed with a high level of finish. Modern technical features include water resistance up to 100 meters and sapphire glass with anti-reflective coating. Overall, the case is maintained in a traditional style but with modern accents.

The dial occupies most of the front panel and combines various textures and colors. The main part is nickel-plated with a rough surface, surrounded by a red-gold ring with a minute scale along which a single blue retrograde hand moves. At the '6 o'clock' position is a small seconds subdial with a guilloché base and azure lacquer.

The Delphis is powered by the in-house caliber C.6004 - an automatic movement with a retrograde minute hand and jumping hour, as well as a small second. Developed in collaboration with La Joux-Perret, it has a power reserve of 55 hours and a frequency of 28,800 vibrations per hour. It is equipped with an Incabloc shock protection system and a Nivarox 2 balance spring for stable accuracy.

Through the transparent case back, you can see the movement's finish: a skeletonized tungsten rotor, polished screws, and bridges with Geneva stripe engravings, coated in ruthenium. The watch comes on a black nubuck strap with a classic clasp.

If the time display of the Delphis seems not unconventional enough, then the Neo Digiteur Chronos is sure to attract attention. Despite its unusual appearance, the Neo Digiteur essentially continues the tradition of the model first introduced by the brand in the early 2000s. It combines a rectangular case with windows instead of hands, while maintaining the neoclassical aesthetics characteristic of Chronoswiss.

The new version of Neo Digiteur is a step forward, where the 65-gram 5N gold case serves as a canvas for intricate hand engraving. Dimensions - 48mm in length, 30mm in width, and only 9mm in thickness - make the model proportional and comfortable. The case finish includes a satin matte surface, polished edges, and fine sandblasting, complemented by two weeks of hand engraving.

The engraving depicts a mythological scene with Chronos - the keeper of time, holding an hourglass. The upper chamber symbolizes future time, with minutes counting down continuously like sand, while the lower chamber marks past time, noted by seconds. A Greek meander pattern - an ancient geometric ornament of continuous straight lines with 90-degree angles - runs around the case and strap. To fully appreciate and enjoy the details, an interest in Greek mythology is required, though the level of finish impresses even without it.

The model is equipped with the in-house caliber C.85757 - manual winding with a Digiteur jumping hour module, developed in-house. The movement is adorned with Côte de Genève finishing, hand guilloche on the wheel bridge, and rhodium-plated elements. The power reserve is 48 hours, with a frequency of 21,600 vibrations per hour, suitable for the small spring size. The watch is complemented by a simple black nubuck strap with a 5N gold clasp.
