The new NOMOS Club Sport Neomatik 42 Date Blue is a highlight of the existing version with a black dial. It comes in a 42 mm wide stainless steel case and a relatively modest height of 10.2 mm. The exterior of the case is fully polished and features sapphire crystals on both sides. The case construction and screw-down crown ensure 300 m water resistance. For safety, the crown is equipped with a red ring indicating when it is unscrewed.
The Club Sports dial in deep marine blue is where this new model truly shines, and the fine matte sunburst finish brings it to life in the light. In typical NOMOS style, the dial remains clean and highly legible. Large white numerals and hour markers are coated with Super-LumiNova, as are the sword-shaped hour and minute hands. At the 6 o'clock position lies a small seconds subdial with a circular pattern and a polished steel hand.
The NOMOS Club Sport Neomatik 42 Date Blue is equipped with the in-house caliber DUW 6101. This movement features a patented bi-directional quick-set date mechanism, as well as the NOMOS swing system escapement. It operates at a frequency of 21,600 vibrations per hour and provides a 42-hour power reserve when fully wound. The movement has blued screws, Côtes de Genève and perlage finishing, as well as a skeletonized rotor.
The new NOMOS Club Sport Neomatik 42 Date Blue comes with a new style three-link bracelet featuring matte outer links and polished center links. The retail price of the watch is 3,120 euros.
