Ulysse Nardin's watch journey began in 1846 with the production of precise marine chronometers and continues today with the classic Marine collection and the sporty high-performance Diver collection. Just in time for the sunny season, UN introduces three appealing models from the Diver collection, equipped with 300m water resistance and automatic movements featuring UN's silicium technology.
Ulysse Nardin Diver Chronometer 44 mm
In 2018, Ulysse Nardin revamped its formidable 44mm Diver Chronometer watches, making them more wearable, comfortable, and contemporary. Featured in updated titanium cases with a new unidirectional bezel with embossed numerals and markers, and a departure from wave or shark patterns on the dial, the Diver Chronometer remains eye-catching but has become lighter and more elegant. The latest edition of the Diver Chronometer follows the 2018 aesthetic updates and, like the special Monaco Edition, adds a luxurious touch of rose gold.
The 44mm case is made of lightweight titanium with blue PVD coating, featuring polished and matte finishes. The blend of matte rose gold and blue rubber inserts, an impressive concave 60-minute rotating bezel with knurling, embossed and applied rose gold markers, and Arabic numerals. The left side of the case has a plaque with the watch's individual number.
On the sandblasted deep sea blue grainy dial background, there are wide rose gold-coated markers with a thick layer of Super-LumiNova. The power reserve indicator at the 12 o'clock position is slightly recessed, with a white scale and a gold area for indicating an empty tank. The large counter at the 6 o'clock position features a small seconds hand, also highlighted in white with gold markings at 10-second intervals, and a round date window. The inner part of this counter has a two-tone lacquered frame with the year 1846 embossed in gold digits. All hands are rose gold-colored and coated with Super-LumiNova.
Under the deck and visible through the sapphire case back is the in-house developed and manufactured UN-118 caliber with a proprietary silicium balance spring, escape wheel, and anchor made of DiamonSil. The caliber operates at a frequency of 28,800 vph, provides a 60-hour power reserve, and is COSC-certified as a chronometer. The Chronometer 44 mm model comes with a blue integrated rubber strap with a branded titanium insert with the brand name in gold letters and a titanium pin buckle.

Ulysse Nardin Diver 42 mm
Positioned as UN's entry-level model, the Diver 42 mm was also updated in 2018, resulting in a more streamlined and less tool-oriented watch. The latest Diver 42mm model aligns with this update, and judging by the grey alligator leather strap, it is clearly a diver's watch that enjoys life on the deck. The watch remains water-resistant to 300 m and has all the necessary glow for a diver, but the combination of a steel case with grey PVD coating and rose gold accents transforms it into a beautiful, modern everyday model.
A simple three-hander with a date, the latest Diver 42 mm model is crafted in a stainless steel case with grey PVD coating, polished and matte. The concave unidirectional bezel with characteristic knurling is made of rose gold and has a grey rubber insert with applied numerals and markers in rose gold. The grey sandblasted dial creates an attractive grainy background for gold inscriptions on the dial, which include the longitude and latitude of Le Locle, minute/second markers, date numerals, brand name, and applied anchor at noon. The hour and minute hands are also treated with thick luminous inserts, while the central seconds hand is gold-colored with a lollipop-style luminous tip. A discreet round date window at the 6 o'clock position has a grey background matching the dial.
The new Ulysse Nardin Diver 42mm is equipped with the automatic caliber UN-816 with functions indicating hours, minutes, central seconds, and date. This movement is based on the Sellita SW300, significantly modified by Ulysse Nardin using in-house silicon components for the regulating organ. It operates at a frequency of 28,800 vibrations per hour and offers a 42-hour power reserve.

Ulysse Nardin Diver 39 mm
The third release is a women's Diver 39 mm watch in a polished rose gold case with a bezel adorned with diamonds. Despite the 300 m water resistance, the bezel is static. Adorned with 40 diamonds, with markers at 0, 15, 30, and 45 minutes, the luxurious rose gold bezel is decorative and not intended for dive time calculation. White mother-of-pearl is used for the dial finish, which is also decorated with 11 diamond indices framed in rose gold. The rose gold-colored hands and the marker at the 12 o'clock position are coated with Super-LumiNova, while minute/second markers are applied in black on the shiny white mother-of-pearl dial. There is also a discreet round date window at the 6 o'clock position with a white background matching the dial.
The Diver 39 mm model is also equipped with the automatic caliber UN-816 with in-house silicon components for the regulating organ. The caliber operates at a frequency of 4 Hz/28,000 per hour and provides a 42-hour power reserve.
The package includes two strap options: a white alligator leather strap with gold stitching at the lugs and an integrated white rubber strap, both with a rose gold clasp.
