A familiar diver with a vintage vibe, but with a more sporty and modern design.

Longines has introduced a new model in the Legend Diver collection. The new timepiece features a matte-polished steel case with a diameter of 39mm, 47mm from lug-to-lug, and a thickness of 12.7mm. This compact and balanced Legend Diver model was first seen in 2023.

The front of the watch is fitted with a retro-style domed sapphire crystal. The back features a screw-down case back with an embossed depiction of a diver. The case is equipped with two crowns, one of which controls the rotating internal bezel. The case is water-resistant up to 300 meters.

The lacquered dial of the novelty is in a rich green color, which looks especially harmonious due to the matching green rubber strap. The dial does not feature a date, with raised Arabic numerals at key points, elongated hour markers, and a slightly inclined internal bezel in a matching tone, which displays a diver's scale. Luminescence for low-light conditions is provided by Super-LumiNova.

Inside, the watch is powered by the automatic Longines caliber L888.6, based on the modified ETA A31.L11 caliber. This is a COSC-certified movement with a silicon balance spring, operating at a frequency of 25,200 vibrations per hour and providing a 72-hour power reserve.

The new model will become part of the permanent collection. The approximate price of the watch is €3,400.
