Watches as a living dialogue with art.
Recently in Milan, the new Bvlgari Eclettica watch collection was presented. This line, with its telling name, includes 15 transformer accessories and 50 pieces priced from €1,000,000. We will explain how different art forms (sculpture, painting, architecture) and the brand's design DNA are reflected in these watches, using 3 models from the new collection as examples.
Notte Stellata Divas’ Dream

This model features a 38mm white gold case that recreates the starry sky that witnessed the birth of the Eternal City in 753 BC. The watch is equipped with a black opal dial, encrusted with sapphires and diamonds in a snow-setting technique. The Milky Way is laid out with stones of different cuts and shades. Yellow gold lines complement the picture, drawing a map of constellations.

The dial of the model is covered by a domed sapphire crystal. It alludes to the signature cabochon cut, often used in Bvlgari's jewelry watches. This novelty is proposed to be worn on a flexible white gold bracelet, inspired by the fan-shaped motifs of mosaics from the Baths of Caracalla. The decoration of the bracelet alone involved 1140 classic cut diamonds with a total weight of 5.2 carats.

The watch is powered by the miniature Piccolissimo BVP 100 caliber - a hand-wound movement with a 30-hour power reserve.
Pavone Bracelet

This watch plays on the theme of the peacock - the sacred bird of the Roman goddess Juno. A symbol of beauty, pride, and divine protection. The fluid construction of the bracelet is made of white gold. It highlights the peacock's head, gently wrapping around the dial, and a flowing fan of feathers inspired by the mosaic pattern of Rome's Baths of Caracalla.

The model's decoration includes 1725 round cut diamonds with a total weight of 60.5 carats, 78 buff-top cut rubellites, and 45 buff-top cut emeralds. The eyes on the peacock feathers are represented by 5 pear-shaped rubellites with a total weight of 3.5 carats. The eye of the bird itself is an emerald with a brilliant cut weighing 0.2 carats.

The novelty is powered by the same Piccolissimo BVP 100 caliber, which supports hour and minute indication.
Serpenti Dea Secret

This model represents a reinterpretation of Bvlgari's iconic symbol. Like the two previous models, the watch is made of white gold. The snake's head is adorned with 3 large marquise-cut emeralds. The dial, hidden in its mouth, is luxuriously paved with round cut diamonds.

Although one might suspect a quartz mechanism in these watches, the model is powered by the aforementioned Piccolissimo BVP 100 caliber with a record thinness of 2.50 mm.
