Among the novelties at the Watches & Wonders salon, Panerai introduced a new model from the Luminor collection, featuring an impressive power reserve. The watch operates with a manual winding movement that does not require winding for an entire month, that is, 31 days.

The novelty features a 44mm cushion-shaped case. It is made from Goldtech rose gold, a blend of gold and copper with a small percentage of platinum and silver added. These elements provide the alloy with enhanced strength and color retention.

Under the sapphire crystal, the skeletonized design of the movement is visible, with components mounted on a thin mesh framework. The time is displayed with central hands coated with Super-LumiNova X2 luminescent material. A small seconds hand is placed on a separate subdial at the 9 o'clock position. Opposite it, at the 3 o'clock mark, is a date indicator, and right below the date is an arc-shaped power reserve indicator.

The indicator has an original, eye-catching design, which is quite understandable given the substantial power reserve. The date indication here is also unique. The indicator incorporates Panerai's patented polarized date disc technology, previously used in the brand's complex models. Simply put, when you look at these watches, you only see the number that appears in the date window. The other numbers on the indicator disc remain invisible.

The model is powered by the caliber P.2031/S. The movement is driven by four spring barrels with a balance frequency of 3 Hz. Other features of this caliber include a torque limitation system that maintains optimal tension of the mainsprings. After 31 days of autonomous operation, the movement completely stops. This was done to ensure maximum accuracy throughout the entire month-long interval.

Interesting fact: the total length of the mainsprings is 3.3 meters. You can fully wind the movement for a month's operation with just 128 turns of the crown.

The watch comes with a black alligator leather strap and a black rubber strap. Both options are equipped with the PAM Quick Release system, allowing easy strap changes by pressing buttons on the underside near the lugs. The model is limited to a series of 200 pieces. The estimated price of the model is €95,000.
