A limited edition novelty created in collaboration with the Japanese fashion label AMBUSH.
Less than two weeks after the sensational presentation of the Audemars Piguet and Swatch collaboration, the company has introduced a new partnership. This is a limited edition novelty from the Royal Oak Concept series, launched back in 2002. The watch is a joint effort with the Japanese fashion label AMBUSH and its creative directors Yoon Ahn and Verbal.
The model features a titanium case, which, despite its compact dimensions of 38.5 x 11 mm, appears substantial. The crown is made of black ceramic with a titanium overlay. The design includes two visual anchors: a black aventurine dial and a flying tourbillon with a red anodized aluminum carriage (a first for Audemars Piguet). Sapphire crystals are fitted on both sides of the case. Water resistance is symbolic - 20 meters.
The dial is equipped with a set of hands made from blackened white gold, filled with luminescent material. The hour and minute scale is placed on the inner bezel. The watch is offered with two interchangeable rubber straps in black and red. The straps feature a quilted inner lining and a titanium folding clasp in Audemars Piguet's signature style.
The model is powered by caliber 2892, specially developed for this collaboration. This manually wound movement is only 6 mm thick and provides a 72-hour power reserve at a frequency of 3 Hz.
The release is limited to 150 pieces. The watches are available in Audemars Piguet boutiques worldwide.
