Three years ago, IWC Schaffhausen rebooted the Ingenieur collection.
The lineup was returned to its core principles: an integrated bracelet, a dial with a mesh pattern, and proportions directly inspired by the original vision of Gérald Genta. This was not just another update but a thoughtful restoration of the Ingenieur's essence. Since then, the collection has been expanded deliberately, developing the platform without losing its fundamental features. At Watches and Wonders 2026, IWC celebrates the 50th anniversary of the Ingenieur by unveiling several special anniversary models. The next stage of development includes five new references, each revealing different possibilities of design evolution while maintaining the collection's identity. Let's take a closer look at what Ingenieur offers this year.
IWC Ingenieur Automatic 35
The first new model is the Ingenieur Automatic 35, proving that sporty integrated watches do not need to exceed a 40mm diameter. The collection was introduced last year with understated dials in black, silver, and gold, but in 2026, IWC enhanced its expressiveness. The foundation remains the same - a functional integrated bracelet built on a medium-sized 35mm diameter platform. The novelty is a rich deep blue dial with the signature mesh pattern and rhodium-plated hands.

The sapphire case back reveals the caliber 47110 with a 42-hour power reserve, a gold rotor, and finishing in the form of circular graining and Geneva stripes.
In addition to the new dial, the lighter version of the model features a bezel set with diamonds made from 18-carat 5N gold. The bezel is adorned with 45 white diamonds totaling 0.7 carats. The silver dial with a mesh pattern is complemented by hands and hour markers in red gold, giving the model a fresh and bright appearance.

IWC Ingenieur Automatic 42 IW338902

green bracelet? That's exactly what IWC did with the 42mm ceramic model. Previously available only in black, the new model has a dark olive tone for the case, bracelet, and mesh-patterned dial, creating a luxurious, expressive, and impactful appearance. Accents of 18-carat gold are present not only on the dial but also on the bezel screws - using ultra-hard "Armor Gold" 18 carats, while the crown is made of solid 18-carat 5N gold.

Inside is the in-house caliber 82110 with a 60-hour power reserve and Pellaton automatic winding system. Like the case, the movement contains components made of zirconium oxide, making the watch virtually immune to wear. Overall, the ceramic Ingenieur is a technically advanced watch, and the new green color brings freshness and dynamism to the collection.

IWC Ingenieur Perpetual Calendar 41 IW344904

Now we move on to a more serious model. You may remember the impressive Ingenieur with a perpetual calendar and blue dial introduced last year. In 2026, IWC raised the bar even higher. The 41mm diameter case and integrated bracelet are made of grade 5 titanium with a satin matte finish. This finish mirrors the style of the 40mm three-hand model from 2024, creating a tactile and technical look while maintaining a premium level with attention to detail.

The back reveals the in-house caliber 82600 with Pellaton automatic winding and a 60-hour power reserve. The mechanism uses a simplified Kurt Klaus perpetual calendar system, allowing all functions to be set via the crown, keeping the case clean and simple to use. The downside - the calendar moves only forward, so if set incorrectly, you will either have to let the watch stop or go through the entire cycle again. The calendar is displayed on three subdials made of titanium to match the case and integrated into the mesh-patterned dial.

IWC Ingenieur Tourbillon 41

Finally, IWC introduced the flagship Ingenieur model - the Tourbillon 41 made entirely of 18-carat 5N gold. The case with warm reddish gold tones is paired with a striking olive dial with a mesh pattern and hands made of 18-carat 5N gold. These are the first Ingenieur watches with a 41mm diameter made from such a precious metal. Positioned at "6 o'clock" on the dial is an exquisite flying tourbillon. To accommodate it, the lower part of the case and bezel were partially cut out, which may raise questions among purists, but certainly makes the model stand out.

The driving element is the caliber 82905 with automatic winding, providing an impressive 80-hour power reserve and a frequency of 28,800 vibrations per hour. A limited edition of 100 pieces makes the Tourbillon 41 a truly rare model. In this color scheme, it can be considered the most desirable in Ingenieur history.
