Key Takeaways

  • Nomos introduces new vibrant dial colors for the Club Campus series.
  • The series is available in 36 mm and 38.5 mm sizes with a DUW 4001 movement.
  • Both models are stylish, affordable, and water-resistant to 100 meters.

Nomos Glashütte traditionally releases Club Campus models in 36 mm and 38.5 mm with two new dial colors in spring.

The Club Campus series is perfect for experimenting with colors, thanks to its youthful focus. As many watch enthusiasts know, Nomos leads in using unusual color solutions and combinations, creating some of the best dials in the industry. In the spring 2026 collection, the brand chose two expressive shades: All Olive - a rich dark green, and Full Rose - a soft pink that perfectly complements the Club Campus design. Let's take a closer look at these novelties.

History of Nomos Club Campus Spring Models

Over the past four years, we have repeatedly covered the spring novelties of the Club Campus series. In 2022, I wrote about versions with pink and purple dials, and in 2023, I talked about coral and green versions. The following year, I covered models with blue and red dials. Last year, I described dark blue and light yellow options that became a symbol of spring 2025. Analyzing all these color solutions, the current shades are my favorites. The combination of soft pink and olive green looks harmonious and fresh. Nomos cleverly used these colors in marketing materials, and we were fortunate to receive two of the four models for personal testing.

Technical Specifications of Nomos Club Campus All Olive and Full Rose

If you follow Nomos's annual spring releases, you know that new dial colors are released in two sizes: the classic 36 mm and the larger 38.5 mm.

  • The 36 mm model has a case thickness of 8.2 mm and a lug-to-lug length of 47.5 mm.
  • The 38.5 mm version is thicker - 8.5 mm, and the lug-to-lug length is 48.9 mm.

Both models are water-resistant up to 100 meters and come with dark gray or beige velour straps with a classic steel clasp.

Inside both watches is the DUW 4001 caliber, developed and produced in-house by Nomos. This is a hand-wound mechanical movement with 17 jewels, a frequency of 21,600 semi-oscillations per hour, and a power reserve of 53 hours.

Previously, Nomos used the Alpha caliber, but the DUW 4001 is an updated movement with a longer power reserve and the brand's proprietary Swing System escapement. The movement is decorated with thermally blued screws, Glashütte stripes on the upper plate and bridges, perlage on the base plate, and a 'snail' pattern on the ratchet wheel. A version with a transparent sapphire case back, which increases the watch's price by 200 euros, is available to showcase the movement in full glory.

Features of the Nomos Club Campus All Olive and Full Rose Dials

Let's look at the two new dials in more detail, as they differ not only in their main color.

  • All Olive - a rich green shade with contrasting light yellow outlines of luminescent baton indices and Arabic/Roman numerals. The small seconds sub-dial at the '6 o'clock' position features a bright orange hand, and the minute markers are highlighted with light pink numbers at 5-minute intervals. At first glance, the color scheme seems disparate, but in person, it looks very harmonious.
  • Full Rose - a soft pink background with similar light yellow outlines of the hour indices. The small seconds sub-dial also has an orange hand, but the second and minute markers are burgundy, and the minute scale numbers are light blue. This dial is more detailed than it seems at first glance.

Wearing the Nomos Club Campus Watches

I was fortunate to test both versions: the 36 mm with the All Olive dial and the 38.5 mm with the Full Rose. I particularly liked the larger model with the pink dial, as it fits better on my 18.5 cm (7.3 inches) wrist. The case size matters more than it seems on paper.

Although the 36-millimeter version has a decent lug length for its diameter, it looked a bit small on my wrist. The 38.5 mm version fit perfectly right away - the watch sits comfortably, and the soft pink dial combined with the gray strap creates a pleasant color scheme.

Interestingly, both straps are actually the same color - dark gray, but when paired with different dials, they appear differently. Against the pink dial, the strap seems lighter, creating a pleasant visual play.

Stylish and Affordable Watches for Everyday Use

Despite my preference for the Club Campus 38 Full Rose model, both versions deserve attention. The Club Campus series is an excellent choice for budding collectors and young people just entering the world of watches. These models are also suitable for enthusiasts looking for stylish, affordable, and quality watches for everyday wear. Although my favorite lineup is the Club Sport, the new Club Campus variants demonstrate why this series is so popular. The new dial colors only enhance its appeal.

The price of the 36 mm model is €1,380, and the 38.5 mm version is €1,480. You have to pay an additional €200 for the sapphire transparent case back. For this price, the buyer gets a quality watch with a proprietary caliber and an attractive design that confirms Nomos's mastery in working with color.
