Zodiac has expanded its fan-favorite Super Sea Wolf GMT collection by equipping two new models with its own movements, developed in collaboration with the sister company Swiss Technology Production (STP).
For the first time, we see the new STP 7-20 GMT automatic movement in the Zodiac Super Sea Wolf GMT watches.
The automatic STP 7-20 GMT movement, manufactured in Biel/Bienne (Switzerland), is a "vibrant" GMT caliber featuring an independent 24-hour hand. It operates at a frequency of 28,800 beats per hour, contains 26 jewels, and offers a 40-hour power reserve. It is also equipped with a quick date setting and hacking seconds function.

Commenting on the new Super Sea Wolf GMT model, Chris Moreau, Zodiac's Senior Product Development Manager, said: "It's very exciting to launch the STP 7-20 GMT movement from Zodiac, developed and produced entirely in-house. Developing this new complication involved an extensive testing process conducted by our team here in Switzerland. The intensive creation of this movement speaks to Zodiac's long history and its unwavering commitment to precision, innovation, and the heritage of exceptional watchmaking."
The movement is housed in a stainless steel case with sapphire crystal and a signed crown. The case diameter is 40 mm, with a thickness of 13.6 mm, and a lug-to-lug length of 47.8 mm. Naturally, as a diving watch, water resistance is crucial, and the Super Sea Wolf GMT is rated for depths up to 200 meters.

The first, more restrained of the two new models, draws inspiration from Zodiac's archives: a black and gray bezel and a clear dial with a red and white 24-hour hand. The other model features a pink and white bezel and a pink and white 24-hour hand that stands out against the black dial. The bidirectional rotating bezels of both models are made from K1 crystal, giving the Super Sea Wolf GMT unique character and charm.
The dials of the Zodiac Super Sea Wolf GMT watches feature familiar block hands and prominent applied indices, covered in Super-LumiNova for clear visibility in the dark. There is also a framed date window at the 3 o'clock position, and both models are equipped with date discs matched to the dial color, giving them a cohesive appearance.

In addition to the new in-house movement, the duo of new Super Sea Wolf GMT models also comes with Zodiac's classic five-link stainless steel bracelet - a first for this model, which adds a dressy look to the ultra-sporty watches. However, the lug width is a practical 20 mm, allowing for easy replacement with another strap if desired. Fortunately for you, Zodiac offers a wide selection of rubber straps in different styles and colors.
The Super Sea Wolf GMT watches are ideal for modern travelers: whether flying in the skies or diving into the depths of planetary waters. Thanks to the use of their own Swiss-made movement, the watches remain true to the precision and craftsmanship that Zodiac has been honing since 1882, and the dynamic design and bright pink color illustrate the brand's long-standing passion for bold colors.

The gray and black Super Sea Wolf GMT model (ref. ZO9415) and the pink and white Super Sea Wolf GMT (ref. ZO9416) are priced at $1,950 USD and are available for purchase in Zodiac's online store. For more information, visit the brand's website.
