The Cuervo y Sobrinos Robusto Churchill Limited Edition features a case made of steel and titanium with alternating polished and satin surfaces. The case profile is quite interesting: the bezel expands towards the lugs, creating a stepped and curved design. A distinctive feature of all Robusto watches is the crown construction, which is a folding lever that, when not in use, sits almost flush with the case. Flip it up, and you can easily wind or set the watch.
The dial is a beautiful warm copper-salmon color with a Clou de Paris guilloché pattern. The sword-shaped hour and minute hands are coated with Super-LumiNova, as is the needle-shaped second hand with a red tip. At the bottom, there is a clearly defined day and date window.
At the heart of the Cuervo y Sobrinos Robusto Churchill L.E. is the CYS 5105 movement. This automatic movement is based on the STP 4-13 caliber. It operates at a frequency of 28,800 per hour (4 Hz), has 26 jewels, and a power reserve of 44 hours. The beautifully finished movement can be seen through the sapphire crystal case back, on the inside of which is printed in black font: “Attitude is a little thing that makes a big difference,” a famous quote by Winston Churchill.
