It's worth noting that Girard-Perregaux is one of the oldest watch companies, with a history spanning 230 years. After announcing a collaboration with Aston Martin earlier this year - one of the world's most respected car manufacturers - Girard-Perregaux introduced a new variant of the Tourbillon with Three Flying Bridges, dedicated to the partnership with the British car house. Now we receive a new version of this same concept in pink gold. These are the same impressive, modern, and technical watches that adhere to watchmaking traditions. This is the Girard-Perregaux Tourbillon with Three Flying Bridges in pink gold.

The Girard-Perregaux Tourbillon with Three Flying Bridges model combines the craftsmanship of the GP House and presents it in a provocative, modern interpretation. Of course, the fact that it uses signature bridges, albeit in an updated style, is a direct nod to the brand's history. And while it is a very modern piece, it is Haute Horlogerie from start to finish.

The novelty of this version of the Three Bridges watch is the pink gold case with matte and polished surfaces. With a width of 44 mm, these are indeed large watches, but they still appear relatively "light" on the wrist thanks to the open space under the glass.

Time is indicated by skeletonized Dauphine-style hands, almost freely floating above the fully openwork mechanism located beneath them. To maximize the view of the openwork mechanism, the hour markers are attached to the inner side of the case band. The absence of a bezel and the use of sapphire crystals allow an unobstructed view of the automatic mechanism.

You might be surprised to learn that this is an automatic watch, as Girard-Perregaux cleverly hid the micro-rotor under the barrel. The in-house caliber GP09400-1683 is equipped with a minute tourbillon escapement and suspended between three bridges.

The upper side bridges are made of gold with black PVD coating, and the back of each of them is made of titanium with black PVD coating. The mechanism operates at a frequency of 21,600 per hour and has a 60-hour power reserve when fully wound.
The Girard-Perregaux Tourbillon with Three Flying Bridges in pink gold is offered at a price of 138,300 Swiss Francs (or approximately $152,000). It comes with a black alligator leather strap with a rubber effect on a folding clasp made of 18-carat pink gold and an additional black alligator leather strap with a gold effect.
