When mentioning regulator watches, the brand Chronoswiss and its unprecedented dedication to this style come to mind. Louis Erard has also embraced this classic design, releasing standard collections and unique limited editions, such as the Le Régulateur Louis Erard x Vianney Halter and Le Triptyque Louis Erard x Alain Silberstein. Now, the brand presents a trio of Excellence Régulateur models with rare dial materials, including dark aventurine, blue lapis lazuli, and green malachite, each limited to 99 pieces.

Stone or glass dials give the models a special character, with each having a distinctive theme.
The Excellence Régulateur Aventurine model features a black background with sparkling inclusions reminiscent of a clear night sky. First created by Venetian glassmakers in the 17th century, aventurine brings a positive celestial mood to the wrist.
The lapis lazuli Excellence Régulateur Lapis Lazuli creates the sensation of early dawn with its deep blue color, symbolizing the hour between night and the new day. Lapis lazuli is a metamorphic rock of azure-blue color with spots of silicate inclusions.
The malachite Excellence Régulateur brings a green hue reminiscent of a forest grove, akin to a pasture painted by German artist Gerhard Richter. This stone was often used in luxury watches of the 1960s, but Louis Erard has given it a more contemporary look.

All models feature dual silver sub-dials that overlap, forming a figure eight - hours at the top and seconds at the bottom, with the minute hand in a central position. The hands are rhodium-plated and crafted in the signature "fir tree" style. Both sub-dials have a matte finish and a snail pattern, with applied Arabic numerals every two hours at the top. The case is made of polished stainless steel, measuring 42 mm in diameter and 12.25 mm in height (49.6 mm from lug to lug).

A domed sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating on both sides protects the dial, and a sapphire exhibition case back allows a view of the automatic movement. Water resistance is 50 meters. The watch comes with a matching 22 mm nubuck calf leather strap with a polished pin buckle, equipped with always-appreciated quick-release levers.

The watches are powered by the Sellita SW266-1 caliber with 31 jewels, 28,800 vibrations per hour (4 Hz), and a 38-hour power reserve. The rotor is partially skeletonized with the brand's logo. Functions include hours, minutes, and seconds with a vertical regulator.

All three Louis Erard Excellence Régulateur models are priced at 2,900 Swiss francs ($3,200), which is a great offer for such unique and well-executed regulators. For more information, please visit the Louis Erard website.
