A new release in honor of the 10th anniversary of Louis Vuitton's partnership with UNICEF, which will be auctioned.

To celebrate 10 years of partnership with UNICEF, Louis Vuitton has introduced an unusual watch shaped like a football. It will be auctioned at Sotheby's in New York, from June 9 to 18. All proceeds from the sale will go directly to the United Nations Children's Fund.

Time is displayed on two rotating cylinders at the top of the watch. The cylinders represent the hour and minute scales. The minute scale features a Louis Vuitton monogram decor. The hexagonal cells displaying the current time are encrusted with diamonds: 144 white diamonds are used for the "hour" cell and 120 black diamonds for the "minute" one.

The original accessory is powered by a mechanism created by L'Épée 1839. The watch is wound using a key that can be inserted either from the side or the top. The novelty comes in a case styled like a Louis Vuitton suitcase.

You can see this model in person at a free public exhibition at Sotheby's in New York from June 11 to 18.
