The new version of the dual chronograph LM Sequential EVO is equipped with the Flyback function.

In 2022, MB&F introduced the LM Sequential EVO model - the most advanced chronograph in the modern watch industry. Essentially, the watch consisted of two independent chronographs in one case and could operate in four different modes. Four years later, the already complex mechanism of the model was enhanced with the Flyback function.

It is known that the Flyback function was intended to be added to the LM Sequential EVO model from the very beginning. It took nine months to create a prototype of the watch, four of which were dedicated solely to the Flyback function. At this stage, six design variations of the model were created, and... the project was postponed for better times. The task was so challenging that the Flyback option was first tested in another, simpler model - the LM Sequential Flyback, released in 2024.

All the features of the EVO line that make these watches suitable for everyday wear are retained here. This includes 80 meters of water resistance, a screw-down crown, an integrated rubber strap, and the FlexRing shock absorption system developed in MB&F. The case design is distinguished by the absence of a traditional bezel.

Functionally, we have the same dual chronograph as four years ago. It has two pairs of counters, and each can be started and reset independently of the other. In flyback mode, pressing the reset button also triggers the flyback function if the corresponding chronograph is already counting.

In addition to the four control buttons, this model also features a special fifth button called the Twinverter. This binary switch allows the user to change the entire operation of the watch. If both chronographs are stopped, pressing this button will start them simultaneously. If both chronographs are running, the Twinverter will stop them. If only one of the two chronographs is running, the magic button will stop the working chronograph and start the other.

What the four operating modes of this model entail, we have written in a separate article. Here, we will only add the missing technical specifications of the watch. The case measures 44 x 18.2 mm. The movement, assembled from 621 components, is manually wound and equipped with two mainspring barrels, providing a three-day power reserve.

The estimated price of the model is €181,000 or $230,000 excluding taxes.
