A set of two classic Panerai models inviting brand enthusiasts to experience an unforgettable adventure in Italy.

This year, Panerai celebrates the 100th anniversary of its flagship boutique on Piazza San Giovanni in Florence. To mark the occasion, the exclusive Radiomir Viaggio nel Tempo Experience set is released, consisting of two vintage-style models (PAM01729 and PAM01730). Lucky owners of this set will receive an invitation to Italy for an unforgettable adventure related to the history of Panerai.

The expedition starts in Florence and will take place from September 15 to 18 this year. The travel program includes a visit to the Florentine boutique and a themed exhibition dedicated to the anniversary.
Next, both experienced and novice Panerai collectors will follow the paths and training grounds of Italian combat divers. The highlight of this expedition stage will be a visit to the COMSUBIN training base and Porto Venere, with a dive following all professional diving rules. The tour concludes with a yacht excursion along the Ligurian coast.

The first model in the set (PAM01729) features a 47mm bronze case. The copper and tin in the alloy give this metal its main feature - the ability to form a beautiful patina over time. Fresh bronze has a warm shade similar to red gold, but over time, with constant contact with air and friction in warm and humid conditions, the patina will appear, the color of which cannot be predicted.
The vintage charm of this model is enhanced by wire lugs and a conical crown - elements characteristic of diving watches from the 1930s to the 1940s. Another important design detail is the black California dial, instantly recognizable by its mix of Roman and Arabic numerals on the hour scale.

The dial is complemented by blued steel hands. This detail also references the history of high horology, as steel was historically thermally treated (blued) to slow down corrosion and improve dial readability. In modern conditions, the characteristic blue color of blued hands is achieved by oxidation at about 300°C.

The hands are coated with a beige Super-LumiNova® with green luminescence. The dial is protected by a convex plexiglass crystal. The case back features sapphire crystal. The watch is offered on a leather strap with a buckle.

The second model in the set (PAM01730) is presented in a case made from Platinumtech alloy. This alloy consists of 95% platinum, but due to special processing, it is 85% stronger and more scratch-resistant. Platinumtech is also 33% heavier than 18-carat gold, making this watch noticeable on the wrist.

The black sandwich dial with a sunray finish is also protected by a plexiglass crystal. The blued hands are treated with Super-LumiNova® with green luminescence. The watch is offered on a brown alligator leather strap with a polished white gold clasp.

Both models have a water resistance of 100 meters and essentially the same movement (calibers P.3000 P.3000/10), equipped with manual winding and a 3-day power reserve. The difference is that the platinum version has a skeletonized movement with a visible power reserve indicator on the back.

The watches, which will go on sale in June, are delivered in a mahogany box. The set is limited to a run of 30 pieces. The estimated cost of the novelty is €145,000.
