This week we continue our series of articles dedicated to the best new releases each month.
In April, we reviewed watches from the Watches and Wonders 2026 exhibition, but unfortunately, the May releases were left out. However, we decided not to interrupt this useful series and today we present to you five of our favorite new releases of June 2026.
Before moving on to the review, let's briefly recall the events since the Watches and Wonders 2026 in Geneva in mid-April. After the exhibition, we had the opportunity to get to know many interesting new products that were presented at the event. Usually, after the April boom of new products, May seems like a quieter month. However, studying the releases of May and June 2026, we found many models worthy of attention. Here is our top 5 watches of June.
Grand Seiko Evolution 9 Spring Drive U.F.A. Collection
Our first choice is not a single model, but an entire series of new watches. Last week, Grand Seiko introduced five new references with the U.F.A. movement, continuing the line started by two models at Watches and Wonders 2025 and the magnificent SLGB005 with a purple dial, one of my favorites in 2025.

Previously, only a few models were equipped with the revolutionary Grand Seiko 9RB2 Spring Drive caliber. In June, we received a full series of new U.F.A. models. Grand Seiko introduced four versions in Ever-Brilliant Steel (SLGB009, SLGB011, SLGB013, SLGB015) and one in high-strength titanium (SLGB007).

The dimensions of the SLGB007, SLGB009, SLGB011, and SLGB013 models are 40 × 11.7 mm, while the SLGB015 is 37 × 11.4 mm. All watches belong to the Evolution 9 collection, offering a modern interpretation of the classic 1960s cases. The combination of polishing and satin finishing emphasizes the clear lines of the cases. As always with Grand Seiko, the finishing of the cases and bracelets is impeccable.

Dial Color Variants
The titanium SLGB007 features a black Lake Suwa dial, the steel SLGB009 has a white Birch dial, the SLGB011 a green Atera Valley dial, the SLGB013 a blue Lake Suwa dial, and the SLGB015 is a 37 mm version with a blue Lake Suwa dial. Grand Seiko chose popular and recognizable colors that are sure to be in demand. My favorite, the purple SLGB007, is more exotic, but most fans will likely appreciate the more restrained options.

The 9RB2 Spring Drive movement, as explained in the introductory article, provides Ultra Fine Accuracy (U.F.A.) with an error of only ±20 seconds per year. This is the most accurate spring-driven caliber to date. The power reserve indicator is placed on the back cover, keeping the dial as clean as possible.

All models are now equipped with a tool-free micro-adjustment system, previously available only on the titanium SLGB003 from 2025. Prices match last year's releases: the Ever-Brilliant Steel models cost €10,400, while the titanium SLGB007 is €11,700. The expansion of the U.F.A. collection is a significant event for Grand Seiko.

Certina DS Super PH2000M STC
One of the most impressive highlights of June was the new Certina DS Super PH2000M STC - an impressive diver, marking the next phase of Certina's collaboration with the non-profit organization Sea Turtle Conservancy. This model opens the new DS Super PH2000M line, which now includes four references. Three are serial, and the STC version is limited to 1959 pieces. I liked this version the most: the lightweight Grade 2 titanium case is paired with a striking gradient turquoise sunburst dial. The black ceramic bezel with blue markings perfectly complements the dial, and orange accents complete the tropical look.

However, these are far from typical diving watches. The case measures 43 mm in diameter, 16 mm in thickness, and 50 mm lug-to-lug, withstanding pressure at depths of up to 2000 meters. The case includes a helium escape valve, and the watch comes on a titanium five-link bracelet with a folding clasp. A blue FKM rubber strap with white stitching is also included, adding brightness and emphasizing style.

Reliable Movement and Attractive Price
Inside is the automatic ETA Powermatic 80.611 caliber, running at 21,600 vibrations per hour with an 80-hour power reserve. This movement is reliable and suitable for light diving watches, which are much more comfortable to wear than their size suggests. Despite the large dimensions, the watch is surprisingly comfortable for daily wear.

The sunburst dial stands out, changing shades depending on the lighting. While purists may not appreciate such a design, it gives the watch a special appeal.

The price of only €1,395 makes the Certina DS Super PH2000M STC an accessible option among professional diving watches, earning it a deserved second place in our June top.

Girard-Perregaux Laureato Fifty 39 mm
The next model is the elegant Girard-Perregaux Laureato Fifty 39 mm in stainless steel. The main changes are very significant. The 39 mm diameter case, 10.2 mm thick, and 46 mm long received an integrated steel bracelet with a butterfly clasp and a 4 mm extension system for a perfect fit.

The new blue enamel dial with Clous de Paris pattern looks impressive in both color and detail. The design is simplified: the date window and the initials “GP” at 12 o'clock are gone. Only the brand inscription remains on the dial, making it more modern and concise. The markers and hands are made of rhodium-plated 18-carat gold.

The novelty is the GP4800 caliber with 19 jewels, consisting of 163 parts, operating at 28,800 vibrations per hour, and providing a 55-hour power reserve. The movement is visible through the sapphire case back and features beautiful finishing, including a pink gold balance bridge and rotor in the same style. This caliber significantly elevates the status of the Laureato model.

The price of €24,000 corresponds to the level of the main competitors. We unanimously appreciated the updated Girard-Perregaux Laureato Fifty 39 mm, which deservedly earns it third place in our ranking.

Tudor Black Bay Chrono 39 “Bumblebee”
It is worth noting that not everyone is thrilled with the bright yellow dial of the Tudor Black Bay Chrono 39 “Bumblebee”. However, the watch received more than just a new color. The case dimensions have been reduced to 39 mm in diameter and 13.1 mm in thickness, significantly more compact than the previous version of 41 × 14.4 mm.

The lug width has been reduced to 20 mm, maintaining water resistance at 200 meters. On the right side are the Tudor logo crown and two screw-down chronograph buttons. The yellow dial with two black sub-dials harmonizes with the black aluminum bezel with a silver tachymetric scale.

The yellow dial is complemented by black minute indices, luminescent hour markers, and a date window at 6 o'clock. The signature Tudor hands and the central chronograph seconds hand with a red tip match the red water-resistance inscription.

Kenissi MT5813 Movement
Inside is the automatic chronograph MT5813 by Kenissi, based on the Breitling B01. The movement operates at 28,800 vibrations per hour, contains 41 jewels, and offers a 70-hour power reserve. Despite retaining the movement, the case has been significantly reduced in size.

The Tudor Black Bay Chrono 39 “Bumblebee” costs €6,200 and is part of the Daring Watches collection with a limited edition. We eagerly await the moment when the model appears in the regular lineup with other dials.

Atelier Wen Perception V3 Yún
The last choice is the updated Atelier Wen Perception V3 Yún watch. The Sino-French brand quickly gained recognition thanks to its integrated bracelet and unique design. The case and bracelet are easily recognizable, and the hand-guilloché dials by Chinese master Cheng Yucai make them truly special.

In the V3 version, the brand replaced the Chinese Dandong SL1588A movement with the French Pequignet EPM03 - a significant improvement aesthetically. Additionally, the case and bracelet received a new micro-matte finish with polished bevels, adding contrast and uniqueness. This version differs from other new models with blue and salmon dials, which have a classic combination of matte and polished surfaces.

Technical Specifications and Design
The 904L steel case measures 40 mm in diameter, 10.4 mm thick, and 47 mm long, looking and feeling thinner due to the design with a slim mid-case of about 5 mm. The case back, bezel, and glass make up the rest of the thickness.

The green dial with the écailles de poisson (fish scale) pattern by Cheng Yucai is adorned with a huiwen pattern ring, applied with white Super-LumiNova X1, glowing in the dark along with luminescent leaf-shaped hands. Rhodium-plated indices complete the elegant design.

Bracelet and Movement
The 22/18 mm bracelet retained the design of previous models but received a new micro-matte finish. The clasp allows for tool-free size adjustment with a logo-shaped button and features a telescoping mechanism, reducing the clasp's thickness by 0.4 mm for comfort.

The Pequignet EPM03 movement operates at 28,800 vibrations per hour, provides a 65-hour power reserve, and chronometer precision (-4/+6 seconds per day, on average ±2 seconds). The movement's finishing is impressive: mirror-polished blue aventurine, wave-pattern Côtes de Genève, laser engraving, black polished screws, machine finishing, and more.

The price of €4,200 makes the Atelier Wen Perception V3 Yún one of the best sports watches with an integrated bracelet in the segment up to €5,000 and the perfect conclusion to our review.
