Watches under chess pieces, pendant watches, ring watches, and more.
During the Watches & Wonders showcase, Chanel presented a series of new models that, as always, spanned a wide range of accessories. In addition to wristwatches, the exhibition featured pendant watches, ring watches, and more. The overall theme of the exhibition: Gabrielle Chanel as a character in her own gaming universe. We will discuss everything in detail.
Chanel J12 in New Sizes

The gender-neutral J12 collection by Chanel now includes two new sizes: 28 mm and 44 mm. The new sizes feature models in white and blue ceramic, as well as Golden Black models, where the black ceramic case and bracelet are combined with gold-plated markers and rotor.

The miniature models are equipped with a quartz movement, while models with 42 mm cases feature the in-house Caliber 12.1 - a COSC-certified automatic movement produced by Kenissi.
Chanel J12 Superleggera 42mm

A standout among the new 42 mm models. The watch is presented in a combination of matte black ceramic and steel. The bezel is made of hardened steel, satin-finished on top and blackened underneath. The dial is coated with black lacquer with a circular satin finish. The highlight of the dial is a sectorial date indicator with a red hand to help keep track of the days. The bracelet is made of matte black ceramic with central links of satin-finished steel.
Chanel J12 Bleu with 38 mm caseThe model with a blue ceramic case, which debuted last year, returns in two sizes, 33 and 38 mm, and now becomes a permanent material in the collection. The signature style of the J12 collection is highlighted by silver markers that pair well with the steel bezel. The 33 mm case models are powered by Caliber 12.2. The 38 mm case models are equipped with Caliber 12.1. Both are automatic and COSC certified.
Chanel J12 X-Ray Coco Game

The sensational transparent Chanel watches have reached a new level. This time, the sapphire case and bracelet are paired with white gold. Importantly, even the movement in these watches is partly made of sapphire. Specifically, the skeletonized in-house Caliber 3.1 is equipped with sapphire bridges and plate. Chanel claims that processing the sapphire components takes 1600 hours.
Chanel J12 Coco Game

The watch features an image of Mademoiselle Chanel (a sort of brand mascot) turned into a laser-cut second hand. Since the unusual hand is made from lightweight carbon fiber, it glides over the dial with diamond hour markers effortlessly.
Chanel Boy•Friend Coco Game

Here, the image of Coco Chanel is stylized as a playing card that could be called the Queen of Hearts.
Chanel Coco Game The Chessboard

Watches cleverly styled as a chessboard. Mademoiselle Chanel is portrayed as the "queen," dressed in a classic Chanel tweed suit. Other pieces on the board also refer to the Chanel universe. The "king" is a lion, one of the key symbols of the House, and the "bishop" is represented by a mannequin bust.

The chessboard itself is made of black obsidian, with squares made of ceramic. The decoration uses 516 classic-cut diamonds. The white pieces on the board are made of white gold and encrusted with diamonds, while the black pieces are made of ceramic.

A special "tweed setting" was developed for securing the diamonds, which uses metal and stones to mimic the texture of Chanel's iconic tweed. Over 9000 stones are used in The Chessboard's decoration. The time is hidden under the shoes on the "queen's" feet.

Interestingly, this unique accessory was not displayed as part of the general exhibition at Watches & Wonders, as it was sold before the exhibition began. The estimated cost of this model is $4,000,000.
Chanel Gabrielle

Watches once again recreating the mythologized image of Coco Chanel in the legendary tweed suit. The texture of the suit is conveyed with stunning accuracy thanks to the "tweed setting" technique. The watch is presented in a white gold case with a black lacquered dial. The Coco Chanel figure on the dial is also made of white gold and encrusted with 651 diamonds.
Coco Game Necklace

A Game Boy-style necklace watch. Mademoiselle, in her signature suit and earrings, appears here as a pixelated image, as if straight from a video game screen. The buttons, earrings, and eyes are made of blackened titanium, and the silhouette's contour is adorned with 193 diamonds. The watch dial, which took 4 months to create, is located on Mademoiselle Coco's back.
Chanel J12 Coco Game Charms

Watches with a matte white ceramic case, featuring a pixelated image of Coco Chanel serving as a kind of charm on the crown. The bezel is encrusted with baguette-cut diamonds. The creation of the watch took more than 10 months.
Chanel Monsieur Lion Tourbillon Black Edition

A new model with the in-house Caliber 5.1 movement, featuring a flying tourbillon. The watch is presented in a matte black ceramic case. The tourbillon carriage, which also serves as the second hand, is hidden under a titanium lion's head with laser engraving. This model has a power reserve of 72 hours and is limited to 55 pieces.
Chanel J12 Diamonds Tourbillon Caliber 5

Another flying tourbillon, but with a focus on baguette-cut diamonds in the design.
Chanel Noeud de Camelia

Secret Watch styled as bows with grosgrain ribbon texture, adorned with sequins and diamonds. The dial is hidden under a diamond-studded camellia flower, which has long been one of Chanel's main symbols.

This collection also includes ring watches and two white gold cuff bracelets with diamonds, released in strictly limited quantities.
Chanel Mademoiselle Privé Bouton Lion

Pendant and ring watches executed in luxurious black and gold tones. In both cases, the watch dial is hidden under a cover adorned with the image of a lion - the emblem of the House of Chanel.
