The new model is thinner not only compared to the larger steel variant (10.3 mm) but also to the gold one (9.613 mm). At first glance, the watch looks very attractive.

I like that this regulator is hidden when worn and becomes visible only when the case is removed from its base.

As soon as I put this compact model on my wrist, it became clear - this is a successful solution. Colleagues unanimously agreed that this size is optimal for the Duoface Small Seconds. The gray calfskin strap 18/16 mm wide perfectly matches the dials. We also tried the watch on a Casa Fagliano gray strap, which I personally like the most. Besides being the best looking among the Duoface Small Seconds, its compact size quickly becomes familiar. The watch fits perfectly on my wrist. Thanks to the rectangular shape and smooth transition to straps, they look like a bracelet - an effect that is best revealed in a smaller size. And this applies not only to my 18.5 cm wrist - all WatchTested colleagues tried on the watch, and they looked great on everyone without exception. This proves the brilliance of the new model and makes one wonder why Jaeger-LeCoultre added it to the collection so quietly.
The price - €14,700 - is slightly lower than the larger models (€15,400), making this version the perfect entry ticket into the world of Reverso for many fans, including myself. I was genuinely impressed and confirmed that in the world of watches, sometimes less is more. The Jaeger-LeCoultre Duoface Small Seconds became my ideal Reverso.
