The Electricianz company from Bern, Switzerland, founded in 2017, is an ambitious watch company whose new Hybrid Mechanical concept was launched on Kickstarter. The brand's main aim is to create unique items that illustrate electrical phenomena in a design combining new technologies and cutting-edge fashion. As a result, with the Hybrid Mechanical, they have created a bold new product that stimulates not only imagination but also conversation. Anyone wearing these watches on their wrist will undoubtedly attract attention.

The Hybrid Mechanical features what the brand calls a “dual-core” - an automatic movement with self-winding and a modern electronic internal module consisting of a printed circuit board powered by a lithium battery.

It would be no exaggeration to say that The Electricianz is a brand obsessed with light. One of the unique features of the latest model is the “night vision” concept, where watch owners can activate the “retrograde seconds” function with a button at the “9 o'clock” position, which triggers a light that flashes for five seconds before returning to its original position. 10 LEDs (light-emitting diodes) help watch enthusiasts “chase the darkness.”

Each of the seven models available at launch is complemented by autonomous technological modules with 10 micro LEDs. The watches feature a 316L stainless steel case with a glass case back, a functional and styled printed circuit board, a multi-layer architectural dial opening onto the balance wheel, and a translucent case back.

At launch, the Electricianz Hybrid Mechanical watches are offered in seven editions: the E-Code edition has white LEDs and a translucent case back with ELZ Green Coding print; the E-Blue edition features blue LEDs and ELZ Blue Coding print; the E-Bronze edition has a bronze PVD-coated 316L stainless steel case and comes with warm white LEDs and ELZ Green Coding print; the E-Copper edition has a copper PVD-coated case with blue LEDs and ELZ Blue Coding print; the E-Circuit Bronze edition has a bronze PVD-coated case with warm white LEDs and ELZ Green Coding print; the E-Circuit Black edition has a black PVD coating, warm white LEDs and ELZ Green Coding print; and finally, the E-Gun edition has a gunmetal PVD-coated case and ELZ RED Coding print.

These numerous combinations of colors and dial finishes allow you to choose the most appealing option for your wrist. All watches are equipped with the Miyota 8N24 Skeleton movement with the aforementioned ELZ-LAB 4 electronic module (patent applied for), with a power reserve of 42 hours. One lithium battery is required to power the LED lighting system.
The Kickstarter for the Electricianz Hybrid Mechanical watches quickly reached its goal after launch, but you can still participate in the campaign until September 23 at a price starting from 411 USD. The full retail price will be 685 USD. Visit the brand's website for more information.
