The latest trilogy of women's watches pays homage to Bvlgari's long-standing reputation as one of the world's most revered jewelry houses and its position as one of the most exciting and innovative players in modern watchmaking. In June 2021, Bvlgari introduced Magnifica, the most valuable high jewelry collection in its 137-year history. Now, during the second Geneva Watch Days exhibition, Bvlgari aims to dazzle women with three incredible jewelry watches from the Divina Mosaica collection.
ROMAN MOSAIC FLOORS
Bvlgari takes pride in its Roman roots and often draws design inspiration from the formidable architecture and decorative motifs of Imperial Rome. The Divina Mosaica watches, as their name suggests, borrow their elegant fan-like dial patterns from a particular mosaic design found in the ancient Baths of Caracalla. Initiated by Emperor Septimius Severus in 206 AD and completed by his son Caracalla in 216 AD, the luxurious Baths of Caracalla were named one of the seven wonders of Rome. Unlike frescoes that have faded over time, mosaics are among the best-preserved relics of Roman art.
Bvlgari's jewelry interpretation of historical mosaics showcases the Roman jeweler's passion for riotous color in models with green tsavorite and pink sapphire, as well as its talent for integrating an ultra-thin minute repeater into a dazzling diamond-studded model.
DIVINA MOSAICA MINUTE REPEATER
Although the trilogy is called Divina Mosaica, the signature fan-shaped lugs of these watches belong to the Divas’ Dream family. In fact, in 2018, Bvlgari set another world record, this time for the thinnest women's minute repeater. Using the record-breaking ultra-thin BVL 362 caliber with a minute repeater, the 2018 Diva Finissima watch had a slim profile and captivated with its sparkling Urushi lacquered dial and diamonds. The Divina Mosaica model, also equipped with the slender BVL 362 caliber, hides its impressive mechanics beneath a mantle of shimmering diamonds.
The 37mm white gold case, dial, and talisman are entirely covered with baguette-cut and round diamonds - 689 (11.6 carats) to be precise. The fan-shaped lugs are framed by baguette-cut diamonds and adorned with round diamonds, a pattern that is repeated on the bezel with its larger baguette-cut diamonds and round diamonds set on the sides of the case. In contrast to the impressive sparkle, the crown is adorned with a blue sapphire cabochon, and the hour, minute, and small seconds hands are blue.
The lucky talisman, also decorated with diamonds, is used to activate the chimes on demand. Like the mosaics in the Baths of Caracalla, the fan-shaped figures on the dial are highlighted by baguette-cut diamonds and surrounded by a sea of round diamonds, as is the small seconds counter at the 6 o'clock position. The magnificent Divina Mosaica Minute Repeater is delivered on a blue alligator leather strap with a white gold folding clasp embellished with baguette-cut stones.

DIVINA MOSAICA PINK SAPPHIRES AND TSAVORITE
Less complex than the minute repeater, the Divina Mosaica models with pink sapphires and tsavorites feature Bvlgari's in-house automatic BVL caliber. Adorned with vibrant colored gemstones, these Divina Mosaica models reflect Bvlgari's passion for bright, bold colors of gemstones. The 37mm pink gold model with pink sapphires uses a combination of 261 baguette-cut pink sapphires and 282 round-cut diamonds to bring the mosaic fan motif to life. Moreover, the fans on the dial have a gradient color scheme, transitioning from more saturated sapphire tones at the top to paler sapphires at the bottom. The Divina Mosaica Pink Sapphire model, matching the color of the pink sapphire cabochon on the crown, comes on a vibrant pink alligator leather strap with a pink gold folding clasp adorned with sapphires.
The Divina Mosaica Tsavorite model shares the same pattern as its sisters but uses a combination of 261 tsavorites and 282 diamonds. The luscious green baguette-cut tsavorites adorning the fan patterns on the dial also have a gradient coloration: darker stones are positioned at the top, while lighter ones are at the bottom. The tsavorite cabochon on the crown and the green alligator leather strap with a white gold folding clasp with baguette-cut tsavorites complete this exquisite jewelry model.
