Last week marked the Geneva Watch Days, the only significant physical watch event of the year, and of course, the WatchTested team was present in the Swiss city to explore the new models introduced by participating brands. Among these brands was Parmigiani Fleurier, which presented an important, brand-new, and mostly outstanding collection of luxury sports watches with an integrated bracelet - the Tonda PF collection. We took the time to speak with the newly appointed CEO of Parmigiani, Guido Terreni, who told us all about this new series of watches, demonstrated their beautiful mechanisms and exquisite finishes, and revealed his strategy for developing the high-class watch company in the coming years.

The Parmigiani Fleurier Tonda PF collection is significant for the brand for several reasons. Firstly, it is the first collection from the new CEO, Guido Terreni, who has taken the helm. Secondly, it marks the watch company's entry into one of the most important markets of high watchmaking - the market of luxury sports watches with an integrated bracelet, high-tech mechanisms, and finely crafted cases and dials. Finally, it is a completely new collection that still carries much of the brand's DNA, but in a modernized form. Needless to say, we eagerly awaited the Tonda PF in metal.

Thanks to our presence at the Geneva Watch Days 2021 exhibition, we were able not only to talk with Guido Terreni but also to touch and feel all the models of the collection, including the Tonda PF Micro-Rotor, Tonda PF Chronograph, Tonda PF Annual Calendar, and the stunning Tonda PF Split-Seconds Chronograph. One thing can be said for certain: the watches are impressively made, with thin, extremely refined guilloché dials, beautifully crafted mechanisms, and a clear attention to detail everywhere.
