The classic Parmigiani Fleurier Tonda model, designed by Michel Parmigiani, transformed into integrated sports watches after Guido Terreni took over the brand's leadership.
The collection quickly became a hit, supported by the introduction of several new models, including the smart and innovative GMT rattrapante and Minute Rattrapante. In terms of style, the Tonda PF exudes subtle, restrained luxury. Alongside, a more sporty version – the Tonda GT – was introduced. This model was revamped and adopted the Tonda PF codes, resulting in the 2023 launch of the Tonda PF Sport Collection. This year, the lineup has been expanded with three new versions of the Tonda PF Sport chronograph, presented in gentle and fresh colors.
Like previous Tonda PF Sport versions, these new editions embody the brand's idea of luxurious weekend sports watches, ready to accompany you during leisure time. They have retained their unique style, restrained yet confident character, and evident attention to detail. Three new elegant dial options are offered: Milano blue, London grey, and Arctic blue, all with a silver base and an exquisite Clou Triangulaire guilloché pattern, replacing the grain d’orge pattern typical of the more classic Tonda PF collection.

The sub-dials and inner flange of the new Tonda PF Sport Chronograph are crafted in contrasting colors, two of which feature very elegant pastel tones – gray-blue or icy gray. The indices and tips of the hour and minute hands are coated with black Super-LumiNova luminescent material. A golden oval cartouche with the brand's logo is applied at the 12 o'clock position on the dial.

Besides the new dials, the new variations of the Tonda PF Sport Chronograph have retained the core characteristics of the models presented in 2023, starting with the 42mm steel case with signature teardrop lugs and a knurled bezel. As for the movement, it is still equipped with the automatic caliber PF070. This high-end chronograph is manufactured in-house – in collaboration with the sister company Vaucher Manufacture, to be precise. The 30.6mm watch represents a modern and relatively compact design, just under 7mm thick. Upon closer examination, it reveals a combination of the best features of iconic chronographs and several innovations.
The watch is equipped with a column wheel, vertical clutch, and a solid reset hammer, beating at a high frequency of 5 Hz and providing a 65-hour power reserve. The balance wheel is freely suspended and equipped with four inertia blocks. A full bridge with double supports ensures stability and shock resistance. The movement can be admired through the exhibition case back with beautiful finishing and a skeletonized, polished, and sandblasted rotor made of 22-carat rose gold in the shape of the steering wheel of the legendary Ferrari 250 GTO.

These new versions of the Parmigiani Tonda PF Sport Chronograph come on integrated rubber straps in Milano blue, Arctic blue, or London grey, secured with a stainless steel folding clasp. All models are available from the permanent collection at a price of 31,400 euros or 27,900 Swiss francs.
