Nostalgic interior clock styled after the famous Louis Vuitton van.

The fashion house Louis Vuitton found an unusual source of inspiration for creating a clock. During LVMH Watch Week in Milan, the company presented an interior clock designed as the famous yellow Louis Vuitton vans. In the early 20th century, these vans delivered Louis Vuitton suitcases to hotels, stores, and directly to clients' homes.

The saffron-yellow body of the van is made from lightweight aluminum. The clock's design heavily features Louis Vuitton's symbolism: the hood is adorned with the brand's monogram flower, a logo of intertwined 'L' and 'V' letters is visible on the silver radiator, and the wheel rims are covered with various versions of the aforementioned monogram.

And a couple of amusing details. The van's rubber tires are stamped with the same LV logo, and the license plates read 'LV 1854', clearly referencing the year the company was founded. The van's dimensions are 18 x 35.3 cm. Weight - approximately 7 kg.

The hours and minutes are displayed on two rotating cylinders located where the car's engine would typically be. The clock is wound using a steel key hidden in a miniature suitcase in the van's trunk.

The clock mechanism was developed by L’Epée 1839 for La Fabrique du Temps Louis Vuitton and specifically for this model. It is composed of 218 parts and provides this nostalgic van with an 8-day power reserve.

This model also exists in a special version, limited to 15 pieces. Each example has a gold-plated body. The radiator grille is adorned with diamond pave in the snow setting technique.

Diamonds are also present on the hood, wheel rims, and front headlights of the van. The rear lights are set with 20 red and orange baguette-cut sapphires. The finishing touch in the design of this model version is a checkered pattern on the sides of the body.

The estimated cost of the serial version of the model is CHF 57,500. The price of the limited edition version is available upon request.
