Today I will tell you about the five most beautiful watches with salmon dials available on the modern market. Unlike many watches I review, these watches are quite expensive. But if you have the budget for top-class watches, any of these will be a worthy addition to your collection. Let's take a closer look!
Daniel Roth Small Seconds

The Daniel Roth Small Seconds Salmon Dial is a watch that stands out even when silhouetted. It has a truly unusual dial shape, reminiscent of an oval with cut sides forming a vertical edge. The watch is made of stainless steel, with a length of 41 mm and a width of 38 mm. This makes the watch suitable for medium and large wrists, fitting most men and women.
The case is equipped with a back cover that allows a good view of the watch's internal mechanism. Both the back and front crystals are scratch-resistant sapphire, and the front has an anti-reflective coating on the inside. The bezel is rounded and slightly elevated above the crystal, with its narrow profile not taking up much space.
The dial itself is formal, with a vertically striped texture reminiscent of a royal seal. The main dial is marked with black Roman numerals, with small rhodium-plated indices at five-minute positions. There is no individual minute marking, though the indices are decorated with a narrow scalloped pattern. The hands are made of blued steel, mostly thin, with triangular lumed tips.
At the bottom of the dial, where the numbers V, VI, and VII should be, there is a gap. There you will see a small sub-dial with a thin blued steel hand. This is a simple 60-minute sub-dial, and it is more decorative than anything else. There are no other complications, giving the dial a simple look that many owners will appreciate.
Rolex Air-King 14000

The Rolex Air-King 14000 Salmon Dial is another stainless steel watch, which should come as no surprise. Salmon does not pair well with gold or rose gold, so any decent salmon dial watch will be either stainless or platinum. These are women's watches, with a diameter of only 34 mm. However, given that watches have been getting smaller in recent years, there is no reason why these watches could not also serve as small men's watches. The watch has a modern appearance and is equipped with a three-link stainless steel bracelet. The bracelet is pre-fitted for wrists sized 6 ¼ to 6 ½ inches, although you can order additional links at no extra charge.
The bezel is smooth and slightly curved, not drawing attention to itself. The same can be said for the sapphire glass, scratch and glare-resistant. It is slightly raised but not enough to obscure the dial. There is no back cover, though the Caliber 3000 mechanism works as well as any other modern automatic mechanism.
The dial itself is quite simple, with an untextured salmon-colored metal background. Five-minute index marks are indicated by white Super Luminova hashes, and one-minute marks by smaller black hashes. Large black Arabic numerals mark the 3, 6, and 9 o'clock positions, and the signature Rolex crown is at 12 o'clock. That's all there is to it. There are no complications of any kind.
Montblanc Heritage GMT

The Montblanc Heritage GMT Salmon Dial is a larger, bolder watch for bigger wrist sizes. The stainless steel case measures 40 mm in diameter, and the sapphire glass is domed, giving the watch some heft. It has anti-reflective and anti-scratch coatings, so there's no need to worry about the glass being curved or protruding above the bezel. Inside, the Heritage GMT is equipped with the Caliber MB 42.05 mechanism, with a 42-hour power reserve and a reliable frequency of 28,800 vibrations per hour.
This is a dual-indicator watch, though they are designed so that both indicators occupy a single main dial. There are no additional sub-dials, complications, or small windows. The main indicator consists of rhodium dots at five-minute positions and applied rhodium-plated Arabic numerals at the “3”, “6”, “9”, and “12 o'clock” positions. The hour and minute hands are sword-shaped with narrow luminescent strips in the center. The second hand is much thinner and reaches the very edge of the dial.
The secondary indicator is a 24-hour one, which can be set to a different time zone. It consists of a blue ring outside the main index, with small hashes at the hour marks. Even hours are also marked with small Arabic numerals to make the 24-hour dial easier to read. A very thin blued steel hand with a skeletonized arrowhead tip is used as the indicator.
Gronefeld 1941 REMONTOIRE

The Gronefeld 1941 REMONTOIRE Salmon Dial is a 39.5 mm watch with a medium case thickness of 10.5 mm. The watch is available in stainless steel and white gold variants, but besides the case material, both versions are identical. The front features a domed sapphire glass with ultra-hard coating on both sides. There is also a back cover with a flatter sapphire glass with anti-reflective coating.
The dial itself is ultra-modern, with no numerals. Instead, there are large polished applied stainless steel indices at five-minute positions. The hour and minute hands are made of blued steel with sharp edges, shaped like a medieval spear.
On the main dial, you will not find a second hand; instead, a small thin second hand is located in the 60-second sub-dial at the “6 o'clock” position. At the “9 o'clock” position, you will see a speed regulator. This is part of the mechanism and actually serves just for decoration. Nevertheless, as the watch operates, it rotates, and this movement is somewhat mesmerizing.
Breguet Type XX Transatlantique

If you are looking for a unique look, the Breguet Type XX Transatlantique Salmon Dial watch certainly draws attention. The sapphire case with a diameter of 39 mm is equipped with a pair of chronograph buttons and a crown. All three control elements are large and thick, making the Transatlantique watch look like something between dress and tool watches. They are indeed dress watches, with a platinum case and a salmon-colored metal dial with three sub-dials. For functionality, there is a rotating bezel with markings every five minutes.
The main indicator consists of small black hashes at one-minute marks and medium-sized white squares at five-minute marks. Inside it, there are golden Arabic numerals at all positions except 3, 6, and 9 o'clock. The hour and minute hands are wide and sword-shaped, with broad luminescent stripes. The second hand is thin, steel, with a luminescent dot at the end.
Three sub-dials are located at the “3”, “6”, and “9 o'clock” positions. They consist of 3-minute, 24-hour, and 12-hour registers respectively. The 24-hour sub-dial can be set independently and is intended for use as a second time zone.
