The winners of the contest will be announced on November 10.
Details have emerged about the first elegance contest announced by Vacheron Constantin back in September as part of the brand's 270th anniversary. The contest, organized for enthusiasts and collectors worldwide, will be held in collaboration with the auction house Phillips, in cooperation with Bacs & Russo.

The contest is open to Vacheron Constantin wristwatches and pocket watches produced from 1755 to 1999. An important clarification: this list excludes quartz watches, alarm clocks, and watches that have undergone significant modifications. The contest features 7 categories, with winners announced on November 10. An international jury will select the winners, chaired by Phillips' senior consultant Aurel Bacs and the head of style and heritage at Vacheron Constantin, Christian Selmoni.
Winners will be awarded in the following categories:
- strike watches,
- chronographs,
- watches with astronomical complications,
- multi-functional watches (watches with at least two complex functions like a tourbillon and perpetual calendar),
- chronometers with the official designation Chronomètre Royal (produced since 1907),
- watches with artistic decoration (category “Métiers d'art”),
- watches with special design (jumping hour, retrograde indication, etc.).

Participant registration for the contest will be open from January 19 to April 30. Registration can be done at Vacheron Constantin boutiques and online.
