A new release with a beautiful combination of a titanium case and a ruby-red dial.

Vacheron Constantin has expanded its Overseas collection with a model featuring a titanium case and a deep red dial.

The use of titanium in the Overseas collection began in 2009, initially for specific watch components. In 2019, titanium was used in special watches created in collaboration with photographer and explorer Cory Richards. In 2022, Vacheron Constantin's sports line saw the release of a skeletonized model with a tourbillon, entirely made of titanium. Two years later, the collection was enriched with another titanium tourbillon - this time with a beautiful blue dial.

The dial's finish, featuring a sunburst pattern in the center and lacquer on the inner bezel, enhances the tourbillon's aesthetics. The bracelet has polished edges, and the top of the case is vertically satin-finished. The bezel, with a profile reminiscent of the Maltese cross, shows sandblasting and circular satin-finishing. With a diameter of 42.5 mm, the case is 10.39 mm thick.

Inside the case is the ultrathin automatic caliber 2160. With a diameter of 31 mm, it is 5.65 mm thick. The winding mechanism is bidirectional, operated by a peripheral rotor with a 916 gold insert. This design not only opens the view to the mechanism but also allows the rotor to be integrated flush with the bridges, making the watch thinner.

The mechanism is composed of 188 parts, with a balance spring featuring a Breguet overcoil vibrating at 2.5 Hz. The power reserve is 80 hours. The mechanism's finishing meets the Geneva Seal criteria, featuring a platinum plate with perlage, hand chamfering, bridges with Geneva waves, and polished screws with bevelled edges.

In addition to the integrated titanium bracelet with an adjustable folding clasp, the watch comes with two rubber straps in white and red. Both are equipped with a folding titanium clasp, which can be removed without special tools.

The watch is available exclusively at Vacheron Constantin boutiques. The estimated price of the model is €170,000.
