The watch that recently orbited the Moon with the crew of the Artemis II space mission.

One of the most talked-about news stories of recent days has been the return of the Artemis II space mission after a manned orbit of the Moon. Those who pay attention to the wrists of famous people, whether actors, singers, athletes, or astronauts, have already spotted the Omega X-33 Speedmaster and Speedmaster Professional models on the wrists of the mission participants. However, other Swiss watches also took the trip around the Moon this time. We are talking about the Breitling Navitimer B02 Chronograph 41 Cosmonaute Artemis II model, worn by all four crew members, including mission commander Reid Wiseman.

The watch features a stainless steel case measuring 41 x 13 mm (lug-to-lug distance - 47 mm). The standout feature of this model is its galaxy blue dial, made from meteorite. The chronograph sub-dials match the dial color, while the logarithmic scale on the bezel is black. Red is used as an accent on the second hand and certain scale divisions. The main hands and white hour markers are coated with luminescent material.

The new model is powered by the B02 caliber (the same caliber that powers all Cosmonaute models in the current Breitling catalog). This is a COSC-certified hand-wound movement with a power reserve of about 66 hours.

The watch features a sapphire case back. Here, you can see the Artemis II mission logo, as well as the engravings "Artemis II" and "One of 450" around the sapphire glass. One of the engravings indicates: the series is limited to 450 pieces.

The approximate cost of the model is $11,900.
